An exciting opportunity has arisen at Caer Las for an outstanding individual to lead our organisation. We are a medium sized charity dedicated to tackling the cause and effect of social exclusion. We’ve been working across South Wales for over 30 years, helping vulnerable people gain their deserved place as valued members of society. We employ approximately 60 people and run 11 projects across South Wales.
You will work with a committed board manage a senior team of four and an organisation of dedicated people who are wholeheartedly committed to our vision of a world where everyone is valued as an individual and as a member of society.
We are looking for someone with strategic leadership qualities, proven financial and business acumen, strong people management skills, an understanding of governance issues and the ability to communicate and network effectively. You will have a passion for the third sector and for supporting the people who enable it to work well and you must be able to motivate and inspire colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
Whilst direct experience in our sector is not essential, a keen interest and empathy will be important.
Salary: £50,000
Benefits: 6% pension contribution and 26 days annual leave rising to 33.
